Hiking & Camping:
In his youth, Brandon was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout by the Boys Scouts of America. He continues to enjoy hiking and camping in his free time. (Above: Brandon on his way to the peak of Mt. Fuji)
Woodworking:
Brandon enjoys designing and creating pieces of furniture and has been doing it since he was twelve. He even made furniture professionally for a summer to earn money for college.
Photography:
In 2006, Brandon took up amateur photography. Since then, he has won several photography awards and even had one of his works chosen for the cover of a Japanese magazine.
Learning of Cultures & Languages:
Brandon has lived in Japan for over 19 years and is fluent in both spoken and written Japanese. He has also studied Mandarin Chinese for years and has traveled to many countries throughout Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas.
